OIRF Contest is a series of competitions for school, college and university students. Outreach organizes these competitions every year, on the occasion of International Radio Fair. The sole purpose of the event is encouraging young talents and attracting them towards the field of broadcasting.
Registration
For registration, fill the form available at https://radiofairindia.com/ before filling the form keep the soft copy of fee receipt and student identity card ready with you. Fees can be paid by UPI. You may also pay by scanning this QR Code using any UPI mode.
Online registration will be closed by 10th February midnight 11.59 pm. Offline registration will be available at the venue on first come first serve basis till maximum number for each competition is filled up. The registration form can also be printed, filled up and scanned copy mailed to mailtooutreach@gmail.com for online registration.
Rules Regulations
Participants need to pay Rs 200/- for each competitions. One student can participate in more than one competition. To participate in a competition a student needs toregister him/herselfonline.There is no limitation of maximum participants in a category.But if we don’t receive at-least 10 entries for a competition, the particular competition may be canceled. In such case fee will be returned. Top 3 will be given prizes. Prizes will be given at Radio Fair to be held from 13 & 14 February 2024 at Bhanja Kala Mandap Bhubaneswar.Judgment of the Judges will be considered as final.Participants/their guardian must read the terms and conditions carefully before submitting the entry. No entry will be accepted after 10th February 2024 midnight 12 AM.
Grouping
Sub Junior- Std 1st to 5th
Junior- Std 6th to 10th
Senior-All College & University Students including 11th & 12th
Categories of Competition (One student can participate in more than one category)
Song Competition(Sub-Junior & Junior)
Duration of the song must not exceed 3 minutes.
Participant may sing any song of own choice in Hindi or Odia language only.
Vulgar songs will not be considered for competition.
Participants need to sing the song using music track.
Dance Competition(Sub-Junior & Junior)
Duration of the dance must not exceed 3 minutes.
Participant may select any song of own choice in any language.
Vulgarity in any form will not be considered for competition.
Only western dance will be performed
Drawing Competition(Sub-Junior & Junior)
Participants need to bring all other necessities.
For sub-junior theme of drawing is Radio Accessories.
For junior theme of drawing is Rj inside the studio.
Debate Competition(Senior)
Duration of the debate must not exceed 3 minutes. The debate may be delivered in English or Odia. Subject of the debate is :
English- Radio’s remarkable past, relevant present and promise of a dynamic future.

News Reading Competition(Senior)
Scripts will be provided by the organizer.
Participant may read scripts in Hindi, English, Odia or Sambalpuri.
